healthcare bureaucrat in philly, v adhd, orthodox jew, ect ect, im love my wife

Before my parents left my mom gifted me her wedding dress to wear at our wedding, hand sewn by my grandmother using my great grandma's best bedsheet lol. It's gorgeous and I'm having so much gender and family feelings ;_;

It was "heirloomed" after the wedding (never heard that as a verb before! so interesting) so is perfectly preserved omg I was on the fence about having a ceremony, but we really aught to now

Walked to the open air market a block from my place this morning to have some espresso. While there I bought some fancy Italian cheeses and really flavorful Greek olive oil. On the way home I stopped by an antique book store and bought a lovely looking collection of Norwegian new realism fictions from 1920 to gift to a friend of mine (but im going to read it first).

Now I'm waiting for the spaghetti dough to rest as my dad prepares a cheese plate for us to eat as we wait

I'm really in my thriving era omg I love this city and neighborhood

I was feeling a bit sluggish after that lunch, so my parents and fiancee and I walked about ten minutes away to a park with 300 year old trees

We rested in the shade as a cool breeze blew through, there was a hellish heatwave yesterday but last night we had a thunderstorm that broke the fever and now it was a nice 23°c

We read and walked and chatted with strangers for two or so hours before lazily walking back home. I feel, so satisfied and relaxed and at peace

I put on a video essay about an art piece my dad might like hearing about, a key part of the art is that one isn't allowed to photograph it, and two minutes in my dad was like "oh he's not going to show it? he's just going to talk about it? what's the point then" and I just. have no idea how I ended up who I am sometimes haha
